We are Raijmakers Heetmakers. A Dutch hot sauce brand for everyone who thinks food could sometimes use a little more flavor and kick.

What started out of a love for spicy food grew into a collection of bold flavor makers. From intense and fiery to sweet and smoky: every sauce has its own character and taste. So whether you're a sucker for smokey or more of a fan of green, herby hot sauces — there's a flavor out there that's just right for you.

Two brothers. One love for flavor.

Raijmakers Heetmakers was founded by us: two brothers with a shared love for great food, unique flavor combinations, and of course a good dose of heat.

In 2018, we started making our own hot sauces. Simply because we felt it could be done better. A hot sauce shouldn't just be hot. Above all, it needs to taste great, have character, and genuinely make a dish better. And that was the foundation for the four hot sauces we have today.

Award-winning flavor

Our sauces were developed with one guiding principle: heat is great, but flavor comes first. That's why we're always looking for the right balance between chili peppers, spices, sweet, sour, and savory notes.

We're obviously proud that the Heat Enhancer has been recognized for exactly that (Best Hot Sauce of the Netherlands 2024 & German Chili Award 2019). But what means even more to us is that people actually keep coming back to our sauces. Not just once to give them a try, but again and again because they're simply that good.

From 2025 onwards: Sweet Sting Hot Honey

Since 2025, our range has expanded with Sweet Sting Hot Honey. A surprising combination of sweet and smoky. The honey is made from real European honey, complemented with smoked habanero.

Sweet Sting is delicious on pizza, cheese, chicken, grilled vegetables, and in dressings. Basically anywhere you'd normally use honey, but that could also do with a little kick.

From two brothers to a collection of flavor makers

We're proud of how Raijmakers Heetmakers has grown since 2018. What started with two brothers and a love for spicy food has evolved into a brand that produces four high-quality sauces and a hot honey — with flavor always front and center.
